C. Dolores Tucker and Jesse Jackson will probably be hunting me down if they know I was for posting such a topic on a forum where there are so few 'African-Americans,' but I could really care less. Also, for those of you that haven't been around Black folks, poking fun at our uncouth bretherin, is done in jest (but with a serious connotation that niggas need to act right). So don't be offended. If you are offended, then maybe you're just a little confused.

I've posted a discussion about the argument of 'n***a VS. n****r' before. It was a pretty successful thread during its short little run. Lets be real, we're moving further and further away from the Jim Crow days; and the "endearing" term, used amongst urban minorities can be defined simply as; a person if ill decorum. No need to call the NAACP on me, and if they get mad; f**k them niggas.

in the same way that telling your kid not to say f**k makes it stay a bad word?

Its not a matter of telling my future children not to say something because its a bad word, but I'll teach them how to conduct themselves and act with the proper decorum. My kids are going to know how to act. They won't go to classes and curse out their teachers. They'll have a bearing on what should be said, versus what shouldn't, depending on the environment.
