It seems like every couple years, the line between what's acceptable language and what isn't is pushed further and further. I remember when "Bitch" used to be such a forbidden word, in casual conversation as well as in the media.
Now you hear the word all over the tv, and the taboo word of the year is "c**t." When I hear that word, especially from women, I just get so disgusted. But it amazes me that we've even gone that far. |

"c**t" repulses me too. It's a hateful word, and I despise using it.
As for "God dammit", that bothers me too. I know this is going to sound religious and whatnot, but I was always taught never to take the Lords name in vain. Meh. Our society has hit an all-time low as far as reality TV goes. The stuff on MTV (i.e. I Love New York, etc.) disgusts me. I'm so sick of seeing her fake hair, huge lips, and false eyelashes. |
