How do you feel about artist sampling other songs? |

A lot of times I hear people complaining about how Kanye stole Daft Punk's song and made it his own. I just don't understand why these people are so offended due to the fact that Daft Punk also sampled a song to come up with Harder Better Faster Stronger and Daft Punk is in the video. Plus Daft Punk sampled plenty of songs ( a majority of the artists being black).
So my question to you is, is sampling good or bad? I personally like sampling, you can take a particular part of a song and use it repeatedly to make a hit song. I.E. SWV - Right Here (Human Nature Remix) sampled from Michael Jackson - Human Nature. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOKd_et0A4o |

Its a 50 50 percent chance of being a hit or completely bombing. I guess I'm alright with it, as long as they don't end up killing the original.
