Yes there is. The following is taken from this site.
Put this in your headline - make sure the font color is the same as your main text color: CODE <font style="color:white">MY HEADLINE </font> Then put this in your About Me - again making sure that your background image is the same color as for the rest of your profile: CODE <style>table.profileInfo td.text font {color:white; background-color:black; padding-right:10px; margin-right:-5px; padding-left:10px; margin-left:-5px;}</style>
