Wait, when is fafsa due? I remember having to fill it out sometime last year - maybe it was in March or something. And it took a while before they sent a reply. Is that $1078.00 for 1 semester, or 1 full year? That's still a good amount since you're going to community -- if in fact, you are in college.
If you're confused how to send it, READ WHAT IT SAYS. Or talk to a finaid advisor. There's definitely a way to cheat the system. My boyfriend's family makes a lot, yet he gets as much financial aid as me. Actually, now he gets $800 more than me. I get about $10,500 for 3 quarters. He gets like $11,300 for 3 quarters. But the difference is that I'm actually poor. ![]() Also be careful with loans - Don't take them unless you absolutely need to. |

Yeah, you can actually submit the FAFSA any time before the semester starts - but for priority consideration, the deadline is very early March.
I haven't even started yet, because I'm still waiting on my tax forms from both the college (I work on campus) and Staples. |
