The Weekend Thread, Madness. Options

In order to even have something to share in this lovely online community, we all need to live some sort of "normal" life. Whether you're a bookworm that doesn't get out much, or you're a constant party goer, you're going to see/experience something on the weekend worth talking about. And even if you don't think its worth talking about, I'm sure someone here may find it to be interesting.

Granted, its currently Saturday in Japan, so my weekend is still just beginning (and I have Monday and Tuesday off), but this may cause for a story covering each night of the weekend.

I'll get it craccalatin' after I get a feel for the thread's success. So far, this weekend is bananas.

Friday night felt like my birthday. I felt as though I was obligated to celebrate after waking up at 0400, running 3 miles and working until 1730. Not to mention that this weekend is the Marine Corps' observance of Dr. King's holiday, so I had no reason to view this as another short weekend.

Every night starts with a trip to Starbucks on Kokusai-dori. "Kokes" is the main street in downtown Naha with the bulk of the clubs, bars, gift shops, American franchises and malls, so its essential for any party goer in Okinawa. After people watching for a little, checking out the gorgeous women that passed by, my road dog Chris, and myself, decided to go bar hopping.

Nothing too crazy; a shot here, a shot there, some Awamori and chainsmoking and we were well on our way to a wild night. We stopped in a bar where my friend Ayuri works. She's a down ass bitch. After showing off the new SB Dunks to her and talking about Lupe Fiasco's new album, she kicked my ass in darts. The niggas showed up, and this smoky little darts bar, on the second floor of a small building in a discreet alley of the Kokes, became a potential location for the next Jeezy video.

At this point, its only 2200, Ami (the girlfriend/ex-girlfriend) dropped me an email and let me know that she wanted to meet up tonight. Well aware that Chris is with me, I began thinking of other things to do, until it hit me; we could have Ami be our official translator so Chris could have a skuzzy little skeezer to keep him warm! Outstanding. I should have immediately put the plan into effect, but the alcohol began to creep up on me, and I had a genius idea to go play Initial D... just so we could laugh about drunk driving.

(FYI: I was almost killed by a drunk driver, its no laughing matter)

Ami showed up, dressed gully as shit. It was a relief because I didn't have the pea-coat on with the Ferragamo loafers and all that fancy shit. Track jacket, denim and SB Dunks. Her attire was quite similar. Chris then told Ami about the plan to find him a 'pun-pun-rider' for the night and all three of us set out on a quest to find the sluttiest looking broads walking the street. No luck, but a lot of good laughs.

Eventually, we went to a liquor store, grabbed a couple six-packs of Orion and continued our drunken stupidity, as we posted up in front of a boarded up club. It didn't take long for Chris to start harassing people, Ami to start insulting Chris, and me to begin tagging the hell out of the walls. The cops even drove by, waved and politely said, "good evening." They were nice gents.

After changing up my handstyle a few times, and frustrated at the fact that I was almost out of spraypaint, the trio moved the party elsewhere. From here, it gets a little hazy. A hypebeast-looking character wearing his black, plastic framed glasses with no lenses, and a pair of Greedy Genius kicks invited us to an underground club for a Drum N' Bass party. I was too drunk to enjoy it. Chris found a target and threw up the deuces. Somehow, Ami and I ended up at a nasty little love hotel.

I don't remember anything else.
