Ever feel so guilty about something?

I am the only child and I usually get what I want. but..

Today I went and bought myself a mac. It was kind of a present from my mom and dad since they didnt give me a present for christmas this year. I was going to save up for it, but every time i got another paycheck it went towards my savinsg or paying off bills. But last year my parents gave me like the biggest present of all which was a car.

When i left my house today, my aunt was like.. "Did you give him money to buy that?" and my mom said no, so that it seemed like i bought it myself with my money. When she really did buy it for me.

Now that everybody knows that I bought a mac today, i feel like everybody has had something bad to say about it. I feel so guilty because I have gotten so much from my parents... fallen.gif I really am grateful about all they have given me and I do thank them so much. But it just seems like I have gotten everything through my parents and for that I feel guilty...

I don't feel bad when my mom does things for me. She is getting remarried sometime soon to some yuppie so she has a lot of money now. She gives my sisters everything they want all the time and I never get anything. When I do I feel like I deserve it because I have done a lot for my mom that I shouldn't have had to do.

But, before all that when we lived as a family we struggled a lot and I really did feel bad when I got things. I told my mom once, and she said that I won't feel bad anymore when I have a family of my own. So, maybe you need to have kids to understand why parents are so good to you?
