Ever feel so guilty about something?

I am the only child and I usually get what I want. but..

Today I went and bought myself a mac. It was kind of a present from my mom and dad since they didnt give me a present for christmas this year. I was going to save up for it, but every time i got another paycheck it went towards my savinsg or paying off bills. But last year my parents gave me like the biggest present of all which was a car.

When i left my house today, my aunt was like.. "Did you give him money to buy that?" and my mom said no, so that it seemed like i bought it myself with my money. When she really did buy it for me.

Now that everybody knows that I bought a mac today, i feel like everybody has had something bad to say about it. I feel so guilty because I have gotten so much from my parents... fallen.gif I really am grateful about all they have given me and I do thank them so much. But it just seems like I have gotten everything through my parents and for that I feel guilty...

Being the only girl in the family, I tend to get what I want. So I know how you feel. Except for me, it's more of my friends noticing this rather than my family. When I buy stuff on my own people seem to be amazed I guess. But I think really you'll get over it. Especially since you're making your own money. It's hard to save money in my opinion. There is always something to buy or payoff (Especially around paycheck time). I would honestly suggest to stop thinking about it so much. As long as you are funding things on your own, and not being so dependent on them, I don't think there's a problem. I understand how you feel though.
