Mom is strict. Options

So, my mom is REALLY strict with me for I don't know why. Basically, since I stopped going to church, she doesn't trust me at all. This up-coming Friday is a school dance at my former school and my boyfriend is taking me. Obviously, my mom now knows about him, but she treats me like I'm five. Last night, I went to the mall with friends. She yelled at me saying my boyfriend isn't suppose to be there, but he didn't show up because he went elsewhere [loser]. And, she wants to take me to the place where the dance is being held. But, what about the whole lots and llots of pictures and putting on the corsage for the girl when the guy comes over? She sacts like my only friends are only girls. OBVIOUSLY, at the age of SIXTEEN, I have male friends, too.

What do I do?

plus, college boys treat you a lot better than highschool boys :). my friend in college is dating a senior in highschool. he can't see her that often, even though they live ten minutes away. i remember last year, during her junior year they would see each other once every month, but now it's once every week. i would drive him to her house when she got out of school, so that he could say hi to her before she walked in. but as you get older, it will get better. she sucked it up, he was patient, and now they're going to the same school next year. patience is the best victory to win against parents in my opinion
