It's becomming more and more common for people to use laptops everyday over desktop computers. And everyone knows that the number one enemy for laptops, besides viruses, is overheating. How do you keep your laptop from overheating?
I currently use something similar to this. If there are any better methods, I would like to know; especially since my laptop is practically my lifeline in my dorm. |

My first laptop, besides from being a stupid Compaq, died due to over heating. Now, my HP computer has a cooling pad that seems to work pretty well. I also take out the battery if it's plugged in and it barely gets warm even after hours of use. I know some people use granite slabs because it sucks up the heat but leaves the laptop cool. |
