For the phone, I like the pda phones, so I am thinking of a blackberry. I want something that is durable and what not and I think blackberrys are definitely that.
As far as a laptop, let me explain my main uses for it. I will be traveling back and forth, and I need to use it for school work as well as other things. I like to download from itunes alot, so of course that will definitely be on there. I surf the web, but I usually stay to about 10 - 15 sites so as far as that is concerned, it is not that big of a deal. I like to play alot of train simulators, so I figure that it will definitely be a factor in the decision. Any advice would help thanks. |

^ The thing about macs not getting viruses is certainly true, but it's mainly because mac users take up such a small percentage of the marketshare that hackers would rather target windows users because they're such a large group.
I personally love my mac and don't understand why anyone would not want to use one. It's worth every bit I spent on it and I absolutely don't want to go back to using windows. In fact, I had a windows partition installed for a while and I ended up removing it because it took up too much space. The only time I've ever come into a problem with something I want to use not working with the mac is when I played flyff briefly last year. That was when I had the windows partition installed, and I must tell you that Vista ran faster on my mac than on any computer I've ever seen it pre-installed on. Aside from gaming, any software that isn't compatible with the Mac has a comparable version out there, and it's usually free. I did all online classes for a semester last year, and I don't know how I would have managed without my laptop. |
