What's your take on outsourcing? Here's a bit of background for those who don't know what it is: http://www.foreignaffairs.org/20040501faes...g-bogeyman.html
Personally, I don't really like it. Up until a few months ago, I wanted to become a computer programmer. But I learned that many of these jobs were being outsourced to other countries. However, it does help american business I guess. |

outsourcing. where to start. i guess you can't technically find anything wrong with outsourcing other than the fact the people outside our nation are finding jobs more easily than the unemployed in america. true 99% of the people that those jobs through outsourcing are more qualified than the people who apply here but thats not the issue. outsourcing is the way companys have found to get the same job done at a cheaper cost to them. yet through this the economy of other nations if improving and ours regarding the job market is at a standstill. the gov needs to find a way to reduce this, maybe set a certain percentage of jobs that CAN be outsourced and rest should be found within america. say in the future outsourcing wouldn't be a problem the percentage limit can always be removed or increased. i'm not necessarily saying that all jobs should be given to americans since there are people coming on H-1's and etc. but yes. outsourcing needs to be reduced.
