I think The Shins have a pretty indie sound.
I honestly have no idea what indie is, but if it's all that bull shit on MTV I can say with almost full certainty that I hate it. |

I know, I have all their albums. I am obsessed. They f**ked up their song on that commercial. I was angry when I saw that. It disappoints me when bands I like sell out. But, they aren't very mainstream and they are signed to a big label I think. What about NOFX? They are signed to their own label that they own so they can do whatever they want. Does that make them an indie band even though they take more of a punk stance? |
