boyfriend and falling asleep on the phone., unwritten rules? Options

I was going to put this in the Girl's Locker room, but I dicided it could pretain to both boys and girls. So I have a boy friend and his name is Brandon, and we like to talk alot on the phone at night. But my question is, is there some unwritten rule about falling asleep on the phone at night with your boyfriend or girlfriend? I mean if I fall asleep and he's awake, he just hangs up.. Or should he tell me he's hanging up? Or vice versa? Sometimes I wake up and find out either he hung up, or he or I hung up accidentally.

Does my question make sense? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. [=

Don't worry, I for one know exactly what you mean. Sometimes we are individually so busy until the end of the day that we can't talk to each other until then. After a few hours we jump into our own beds and keep talking, wash up and keep talking, turn out the lights and keep talking... and then one of us just falls asleep. I think it's perfectly fine if he just hangs up if you're asleep.
