So, my mom is REALLY strict with me for I don't know why. Basically, since I stopped going to church, she doesn't trust me at all. This up-coming Friday is a school dance at my former school and my boyfriend is taking me. Obviously, my mom now knows about him, but she treats me like I'm five. Last night, I went to the mall with friends. She yelled at me saying my boyfriend isn't suppose to be there, but he didn't show up because he went elsewhere [loser]. And, she wants to take me to the place where the dance is being held. But, what about the whole lots and llots of pictures and putting on the corsage for the girl when the guy comes over? She sacts like my only friends are only girls. OBVIOUSLY, at the age of SIXTEEN, I have male friends, too.
What do I do? |

Since when did regular dances do the whole flower thing? On the east coast it definitely doesn't rock like that. Any who, you should definitely let your mom when this battle, because ultimately you will win the war when you go off to college. What is she going to do then, move into the dorm room next door to you? Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet hun.
