So, there are some really interesting questions and thoughts here, but, first I just want to say: Holy f**king shit, INCEST! Ahhh ha, wow. That sucks. Now that I'm over that: How does this speak to our attractions of those who are similar to ourselves? What does this say about the social taboo of incest and its nature? Should we ready foster children with more information regarding their situations and or biological parents? How f**ked up is that?! Do you think they cried, I bet they did. Damn. |

Wow. Can you imagine finding out your boyfriend is actually your twin brother!
I would cry so bad. To answer your questions Incest isn't really taboo (maybe that's because I live about half an hour away from Kentucky?). It's illegal for a reason but no one I've talked to has ever really had a problem talking about it. Of course you are attracted to people similar to you, if you weren't similar at all you wouldn't have anything in common and your relationship wouldn't last. No, opposites attract is not true. I think siblings, especially twins, should always be placed together. If that is absolutely impossible they should be placed with families in the same cities and be able to contact each other. I never understood why files like that were closed anyway. I know a girl that was adopted and she is having a hell of a time finding her real parents. I think every kid has a right to at least know the name of their parents. |
