On August 26th, no later than 2359, I am required to report into the Marine Corps' Central Command on MacDill Air Force Base, for transport to Baghdad, to fulfill the requirements essential to mission accomplishment on a 7 month deployment to Iraq.
I don't give two shits about politics, although I've been briefed on a good amount. I see dollar signs with this deployment. 20 grand. SUGOI!!! And to make it even better, I'm going to fill an individual augment billet, not sure what I'll be doing yet. I'm probably going to be filling a security slot, which (I've been told) is pretty fun. Damn, I'm excited. The training begins in March, and I'll get to take about 45 days of leave (vacation) before I head to Tampa for check in.

For females, I'd recommend AF or USN.
I'm going to be in Tampa for about a week. I used to live in Oldsmar when I was younger, and I went back pretty often to visit my USF friends. Is Club 1509 still open? Is 7th Ave still a hotspot? We should grab a couple drinks. |
