Preaching to tribal civilations Options

I was just thinking about this. If you take the right approach at contacting tribal civilizations it must be pretty easy to convince them to switch to a Christian religion. I mean, think about it. Alot of the tribes that you hear about have evil spirits and are constantly fearing for their lives. Believing that there's a God that loves you unconditionally, I don't think it would be very hard to accept it.

Your thoughts? This is not a detate, and if you see it as one then put it there.

Just because they are "tribal" or "uncivilized" doesn't mean they're retarded.

Noone is going to just drop their culture/way of life just because the "white-man" is smarter than them.

Alright, dude. First of all, if you didn't read my post clearly, then you shouldn't post in here at all. Because it's a waste of mine, and infinitely your time. I never stated that tribal civilizations were at all "retarded." Nor did I mention them as "uncivilized." That was yrrnotelekktric's doing.

I'm speaking theoretically, my friend. I'm not at all humoring the idea that one could merely waltz into the jungle, stumble upon some never before seen tribe, yada, yada... and simply force their religion onto somebody. To truely be able to have a "uncivilized" and "retarded" tribe's man allow himself the freedom to open his thoughts and start to comprehend that maybe there is more than just him, his people, and his way of life on this planet. Maybe there are evil spirits and witch doctors, or maybe there is a God who would love you even if it was unrequited.

But, that is beside the point. The point was simply to suggest the idea it must be easier some one who has only known one moral code, one religion their entire lives that involves constant fear, to accept a religion that shows a selfless, loving servant as their Lord.

And if I'm not mistaken a culture is not defined by it's religion. Religion is only one slice of the metaphorical, cultural pie. Because a society cannot survive on religion alone, can it?

So, before you go around calling tribal people "uncivilized" and "retarded" think twice about what you say. You can never take it back.
