The WGA strike is ruining almost every night…everything on tv seems to be a rerun! I hope that there are some good shows coming out in January or else I’m going to have to watch old seasons of Friends all over again.

How will the writers' strike affect movies? Will there eventually be a period of like, no new movies coming out/a lot of shitty rushed movies? If the strike continues as it is, Hollywood should be running out of scripts. But, they probably have a years worth or more in stock - after a while though, new productions'll start to slow down. So, it is possible, that this will directly effect Hollywood at large. Is the strike still going on? Yes. |
