Hey everyone. Recently, my computer crashed and all my programs were lost. I really wanted to start my website back up but it became too much because I wanted the latest version of photoshop. I had photoshop 6 or something. I also had dreamweaver but I would like to have the later versions of that too.

Well I could just re-download the old versions of both on this comp but I would LOVE to have the later versions of either program. It costs so much money and that, I don't have at the moment. So does anyone have a later version of photoshop or the dreamweaver series that I could download? I tried the trial copies but it was such a tease. I would love it so much if anyone could help me. OH! By the way, I have both a mac and pc. I would prefer a pc version but I wouldn't mind a mac version.

As for other types of programs, I wouldn't mind trying anything new! I heard a lot of good stuff about paint shop pro. I never used that before. Any program would be sufficient because at the moment, I have nothing. :( But anyways, that's about it.

Thanks!!

I know you prefer PC, but since I'm a mac user and you said you at least own a mac, I wanted to mention that the mac is great for photo editing and there's a lot of really great software out there.

First of all, I can start with GIMPshop - it's a GIMP hack that basically puts the photoshop interface on top of it. You can try it out on both platforms:
http://www.gimpshop.com/download.shtml

Just to give you more options, there is also Seashore for the mac - it may not be as full-featured as you would like, but it's worth trying:
http://seashore.sourceforge.net/

And if you want to give something a try that costs a little bit of money, just do a search on google for mac image editors. A lot of people really like the Pixel editor - it's about $60, but compare that to $200+.
