I finished this last week, and it's easily one of my favorite books. I found only one problem: the "scene" where Susie closes her eyes and sees heaven felt way, way too Sci-Fi or Fantasy in a novel that was so accurate in depicting the human condition. But hey, as long as Ray
s happy. ;] I really, really felt for Lindsay, but even more so for her father - how could anyone not love him? Kind of makes you hate Susie's mom, which made it difficult to willingly fit her into the lovely bones at the end, but Sebold makes it work. |
