Uhh..not sure if this is the right place to post this. I was thinking debate, but i dont know. Anywho...
A lot of people say all this technology will make people stop communicating and doing anything natural and blah blah blah. Do you think an advancement in technology will improve our world (as appeared in t.v. shows and futuristic books) or ruin this world (um..also in t.v shows and futuristic books =P)? I think you get the point, right? I'm sort of in the middle about this. |

There is a certain point until technology is going too far. Medical/military technology is okay by me, but even modern technology such as television today ruins lives. Entertaining technology only encourages inactivity, and more and more people today spend their lives in front of a television, with little motivation to do real work or exercise. How many "fit" people do you see today? Not a lot. Skinny girls/boys is not the equivalent of "fit," either. Besides having jobs/school with little time to exercise, that's an exception.
What do you hear about today in your casual conversations? Technology. The iPod, shows on the television, breaking news on television, the "awesome" music videos on YouTube. All of which includes some form of technology. So, you could say I'm in the "middle," too, it just all depends on what people do with it. |
