Not sure if this is the right place for this..
It really my sisters problem. She was invited to a birthday for twin boys at the movies and she's supposed to go, and buy her own ticket and meet the other kids there. The problem is there is not one older person there, just a bunch of 12 and 13 year olds. My mom didn't let my sister go, but I don't fully agree with her. what do you think? |

Ask your mom what exactly she's afraid will happen if your sister goes without an adult. Remind her that it's a birthday party, and she won't be the only kid there. Maybe if you and your sister reason with your mother, she will be allowed to go to the movies with her friends as long as there is a certain number of kids with them.
