Oh geez, not really much you can do then, i'm sure you've tried the whole "please I love you and I don't want to lose you" shpeil.
Doesn't really sound like it matters to him if he expects you to do something amazing thousands of miles away, that's not to fair to you. Idk what to tell you.  Call and talk about it.
