I think we're all familiar with our "signature" phrases.
What are yours? Or, better yet, what are some words you find yourself abusing over and over? |

you know when people say, "i'm always here for you"?
of course it can't ever really be true; eventually somehow your buddy's going to be in the amazon and getting attacked by wild birds or something and you'll be somewhere else. it just doesn't work. i guess it's just a sort of love that at least makes the effort all the time, no matter how irritated or angry or disappointed or anything you are with that person. i've never experienced that from anyone. i thought i did before though, but people change their minds. i can't say that that's all i think there is to it though :P love's a little hard to define. |

you know when people say, "i'm always here for you"? Not to disturb or interrupt this rather emotional discussion, but I HATE THAT. Friends who are nice because they feel obligated to be, and tell me that they'll always be here for me, or that I can count on them for anything? All I've experienced is a bunch of liars/backstabbers. I only have one true friend and that's my boyfriend. I can't stand friends who just use you and then throw you away when they find something better. |
