Its pretty self explanatory. I give it to Common Sense, holding it down for yet another, well done, beautifully written, and amazingly underrated album.

I downloaded SOOO much this year.
Common's Finding Forever, Kanye's Graduation, Lupe's The Cool, JayZ's American Gangster, and Nujabes. I don't have much of an opinion cause I'm kind of biased towards artists I already generally liked haha. Well, I've always loved albums from Common and all his songs from "Be" so Finding Forever was definitely a favorite. Jay-Z was good, but I never liked listening to his songs so most of them kind of bored me. There were good ones here and there, but in general it was okay. That album got pretty high ratings though. Kanye was good as well, and like someone said, it didn't differ much from his past albums. Lupe's new album was better than his past ones, I think. I definitely enjoyed The Cool. And I downloaded Nujabes which was good, but it was mostly instrumental...which was alright I guess. Good to relax and listen to. Modal Soul and Metaphorical Music was better. I CAN'T CHOOSE. |
