Try this: (I'm assuming that you use Photoshop)
1. Find a shape you want and convert it to a selection. For example: A. Custom Shape Tool (Press U). Click the arrow next to the Shape box in the upper toolbar to see all of the default shapes. Pick one and then draw it on a layer. Make sure the 2nd icon, Paths, in the upper left toolbar is highlighted so that the shape is a path. B. Go to the Paths palette (Window/Paths) and convert the path to a selection by clicking the 3rd icon on the bottom (Load path as a selection). 2. Now you should have a "marching ants" selection visible. Reverse the selection by clicking Ctrl + Shift + I. 3. Highlight the layer with your picture. Cut out the outer area, Ctrl + X. Your picture should be inside the shape. |
