Not sure if this is the right place for this..
It really my sisters problem. She was invited to a birthday for twin boys at the movies and she's supposed to go, and buy her own ticket and meet the other kids there. The problem is there is not one older person there, just a bunch of 12 and 13 year olds. My mom didn't let my sister go, but I don't fully agree with her. what do you think? |

So will this be an ongoing thing or is it just for now? My brother is 13 and my mom asks me to go to the movies with him she doesn't know his friends. I go with him but not to see the same movie. Him and his friends see whatever movie they want and we see ours, unless we all want to see the same thing. If your mother is uncomfortable with letting her go alone maybe you could all go. Once she feels that your sister is used to the environment and she feels it is one that is safe, she'd probably be okay with letting her go alone.
