Not sure if this is the right place for this..
It really my sisters problem. She was invited to a birthday for twin boys at the movies and she's supposed to go, and buy her own ticket and meet the other kids there. The problem is there is not one older person there, just a bunch of 12 and 13 year olds. My mom didn't let my sister go, but I don't fully agree with her. what do you think? |

i spent the longest time wondering if you meant 12 noon or midnight. then i was like ohh, 12 years old!
/punches self in face i can see where your mom's coming from. a group of 7th graders (i think?) don't always have the best judgment and these days anything could happen... unless i knew for sure that my 7th grade kid, assuming i had one, could hold herself in a fight with someone much larger than her, i wouldn't be too keen on letting her places alone with other dumb kids that could just get in the way. as an older sister though, i'd give sissy a phone, then take my mister and go see the same movie.. while sitting on the opposite side of the theatre so she doesn't feel too crowded. i carry mace almost everywhere i go, and keys are exceptionally effective weapons if you use them right. |
