I've been dating my boyfriend for almost a month now, and I'm very shy. This is only my second relationship, and he's been in several. I've done plenty of kissing before... and while it took me awhile to get used to at first, I felt alot from it and felt comfortable. But now with my new boyfriend, I feel awkward when do anything more than just a peck on the lips. I can tell he's always really into it, but I'm always paying way too much attention to what I'm doing.

I'm still shy around him, so could that be it? Could he be a bad kisser? Or could there just not be enough chemistry between us?

I feel like we're really compatible, and I know without a doubt that I really like him. I'm just worried now that this isnt something I'll get over. There's probably not a magical answer to this though.

You'd better open up FAST too or else he'll take your "shyness" as "disinterest", and that could turn out fairly bad.

We've already discussed it several times, and he seems to be very understanding. I'm just worried that maybe I'll never be able to open up to kissing him, maybe it isnt shyness? Because we constantly hold hands, hug, and lay up against each other. I'm fine with everything else, its just kissing that makes me feel awkward.
