I like them if they're well designed and I believe them to be popular.
I'm a default layout designer more than anything else, because for me, they're easier to design, and take less time meaning I can make more. I recently began to submit some layouts, and the default layout I submitted got rejected for being 'too plain'. I don't understand quite why that matters. Just because the admins don't like it, does that really mean it can't be shared with others who may just enjoy it? Has anybody else had this problem? Any advice to offer? (aside from shut up and stop whining.) |

It doesn't matter what kind of layout it is, Standard or DIV, but at createblog, we want to distinguish ourselves from all of the other layout sites... most of which happen steal layouts from us.
If you submit a standard layout, it's fine... it's just that it has to be of a high quality. A layout is a work of art, and we want to see more of you in the design and less of myspace. Does that make any sense? |
