Pop or Soda?
I say soda. pop just sounds weird.

Chips or Crisps?
chips, duh.

Chips or French Fries?
french fries! or simply fries.

Bookbag or Backpack? (the thing you take to school, not one for hiking)
this one bothers me. i can say either, most people would understand. and if other people say bookbag, backpack, bag, knapsack, i would understand. but when i told my cousin (michigan) i bought a new bookbag, she was totally lost. she HAS to say backpack.

Sucker or Lollipop?
lollipop. it sounds prettier =]

If you know more like this, feel free to add!
