Hi all...I (finally) got a domain back in June, but haven't really gotten around to working on anything until a few weeks ago. Basically, I just have the layout for my main page and "Portfolio" done, and I wanted some feedback? Do the colors work,the banner, etc?

This is on my computer. So, first thing's first, you really need to optimize your graphics because they took forever to load. If it's just me, you should take into consideration how many people are not blessed with a good internet connection, and it's a pain in the ass. Try using the, "Save for Web" option in Photoshop because I am just making the assumption you use it.
Secondly, the text is small and hard to read against a dark background. I'm not really sure why you made the headings brighter than the content that people actually read, but it's quite distracting. Other than that, things are aligned well, and in the time that I wrote this, your layout still hasn't fully loaded because of the huge file you have as a banner. |
