Does anyone know of a good tutorial on how to create an effect on images like this:
http://auguria.deviantart.com/gallery/ I've asked her and she said this (I couldn't really figure out what she meant though. O_O I've never messed with tones): --> the process is the following: desaturated / gradient map, and then (I never use sepia) I play with colors and tones :) In one mono photo of mine there are more than 5 combined colors. U can't really see them, but that combination is the one that gives a special, different feeling to every picture. :) Specifically I would like to create an effect like her photo Nostalgia: http://auguria.deviantart.com/art/nostalgia-72492201 Thank you for any help! ^__^ |

It's not the same result, but the process is very similar to this tutorial.
All she did was desaturate her photos. Create a new layer with some sort of yellow/brown gradient, and then adjusted its settings to blend in with the picture. |
