Hi all...I (finally) got a domain back in June, but haven't really gotten around to working on anything until a few weeks ago. Basically, I just have the layout for my main page and "Portfolio" done, and I wanted some feedback? Do the colors work,the banner, etc?

the space between the two columns bother me. and how the width of the banner is different from the columns combined. i like the colors. and everything match. it's nice.
