So i was going out with this guy, let's call him MC, and we broke up but we ended up being...i guess you could say, friends with benefits. we still cared for each other and we still did..."stuff".
then, a week later, we were on the phone and we started talking about how we would never make out with each other's best friends...but the next day, i made out with his best friend... so he found out and got mad at us but he forgave his friend within like two hours...and now [a week later] he told me he's trying to get over me because he likes someone else and he can't trust me anymore because he considers it "cheating" even though he dumped me... but last night he said i should still "make it up to him" but no sexual stuff, no presents... Now i have two questions... 1. do i owe him anything more than an apology because technically i was single, and he dumped me... 2. if i really should make it up to him...any ideas? |

What you did isn't technically wrong, since you were single. But, you did lie to him when you told him you wouldn't do it and then you did it the next day. I know I'd be upset if I were him.
You should definitely apologize. I don't see what he means by making it up to him. |
