Way to compete people.
I don't think having a lower end job is all that bad. It really depends on what you want to do in life. Right now, I don't know what I want to do. I know that schooling probably isn't in my future, or at least university level education. I really just either want to make a career out of playing music, or do something in carpentry. But I really don't want an ordinary life. That's my problem. I am pretty much mediocre, but I don't want to be normal. Anyone else feel that way? Like, I really want to make it. And I don't mean, having a good job where I get 100k a year. I want more. Like, I want people to enjoy what I do, and what better place to do that in than music? Is this even a good question? What is better? I mean, no shit some one with a job is going to be all around better. Probably have less stress, so there will be less fighting and what not. But, there are pros and cons for both. It depends on the person I guess. |

I really don't understand those people who spend so much money and time studying something that they don't even like. Then spend the rest of their life working a job that they hate. What's the point of life if every day 9-5 is going to suck? That kind of lifestyle is not for me. Go get an education and study something you LIKE. So that you won't be cursing your job later. I'm a musician and I know I will end up poor, or at least not very stable economically, but there are more important things than money. |

I'm a musician and I know I will end up poor, or at least not very stable economically, but there are more important things than money. Like, it's gotten to the point where I don't want to go to school for music. It's just going to make me hate it. School is meant to take the passion out of what you love. And I don't want that. My friend went for music and he hated it. Seriously, people have asked me what I want to do in life... I told them I don't know. Probably be a musician. They just rolled their eyes. I had one of my best friends tell me that I won't be able to do it. So, I just think of that quote in The Pursuit of Happiness where Will Smith tells his son that he probably wont be a good basketball player. SO, f**k ALL YA'LL HATERS! |
