So whose getting? Whose got it pre-ordered? Whose getting every controller combination for it?
The game will be able to use GCN, Wiimote + nunchuck, Wiimote alone, and Classic controller. FOUR ways to play the game haha. It's released feb 10, a 2 month push back :( I hope they don't push it back again haha. Anyways, a bunch of new modes. There's this adventure mode where you can side scroll and you hae to fight bosses etc. Also the new power up for the super smash drops once per game, and you can get an ultimate move that's like a WTFPWND to everyone else. Pretty awesome imo. Anyways, tons more on their website, and they keep you updated on the new characters that are announced :D Most recent announcement is Sonic! Of course there are characters such as Ike, Lucas, Solid Snake, Meta Knight, Pokemon Trainer, and others that are being announced. Oh yeah, also Zero Suit Samus :D |

I think I might buy it for my sisters just so I can play it. Sonic... is... I'm going to cry... He's just... AWESOME!! xD I couldn't really care less about Sonic. If he's a good character, we'll see; otherwise, I have no immediate opinions on his appearance in Brawl. As goes third party, I was a lot more excited about Solid Snake. Everyday he asks me if I want to play Melee with him, I guess to practice for Brawl. Bad idea - which sort of saddens me. However, this isn't Melee - this is a brand new game. Much like the physics of Melee differed greatly in comparison to the style and play of the first 64 installment, Brawl is going to be a completely different experience. Of course, the basic concepts will remain intact, however, the gameplay should see a dramatic shift - at least for the more technical players. Practicing Melee will improve your abilities on the Gamecube, but, unfortunately, it won't perfectly translate onto the Wii - if anything, all that getting use to Melee will probably just confuse and frustrate you come February 10th. Well Pichu is actually better than Pikachu if you know how to use him. Not really. Pichu is in the lowest tier. Pikachu isn't. Essentially, Pikachu just has greater combobility, priority, and hit-box. Roy and Marth are a good match. Not really - given equal opponents, using advanced techniques, Marth will win dramatically in all scenarios. Marth is top tier - Roy isn't. |
