me and my boyfriend has been together for 6 months now.. he has always been there for me whenever we're the bestest friends

something happened on sunday.. it was his mates 18th birthday but he was meant to spend the day with me.. his mate mike has try to get him to cheat on me heaps of times but my boyfriend had turn him down.. well mike called in at around noon and told him it's a boys time and so my boyfriend promised me to spend the day until 6 o'clock with me.. i was abit pissed off.. i cried.. hmm which i couldn't stop it because iam a very emotional person then that night the last night he called me was 8 o'clock and then at around 10 at night i tried call him but his phone was off.. and he didn't call me until 4.30 the next afternoon.. ok so we talked for hours and hours he told me "ok this is one thing that we're really different about.. you love the city and you love the shops heaps and heaps of shops but i have been lying to myself that i would leave anywhere you want to live in.. but for me i would really like to live in somewhere where it's peace and quite and like the farm" and then he said "i want a girl who will support where i live and my career" then i was crying on the phone cause i really don't want to lose him but he sounds like he was going to dump me.. and he told me "if we ever break up i want it to be a mutual break up we'll still be best friends and i will always be here for you no matter what ok is it a deal?" and then.. later last night i called him and say that i really love him and dont ever wanna lose him and he told me "i wasn't thinking before about what i say i want a girl who supports where i live etc.. i just dont want to lose you because i know we're meant to be together" so i was happier last night and i got a good sleep

but then today i txted him if he is coming to see me tonight he txted back saying "i mis u huni mwah xoxo, 2 nyt yup at 6" but its 8.42pm atm and i called his house his mum said he is at work.. he doesn't reply my txts i have sent a milion and he also dont reply my call

i don't know what's going on

first of all, chill out about him not responding. maybe there was an accident, or something happened and he's not getting your messages, who knows - all you can do is wait it out and hear what he has to say for it later. it might not be his fault.

his friend mike kind of sounds like a douche, but try not to assume that he's out with another girl. it sucks that he stood you up, but don't do anything wild until you guys talk about it.

i don't mean to be a party pooper, but how old are you? what are the chances that you're going to meet the person that you're meant to be with forever in your early years? he was just talking about the future, and let's be blunt. a lot of the people we know from high school, even college for some, we'll never talk to again. don't make too big a fuss over it, and just enjoy the company while it lasts... not that i'm saying to give it all up when school ends. of course it's great to try and keep in touch, but usually it doesn't work that way.

for now, just wait for his answer and try to reason things out when he's giving his explanations.
