(I apologise for the length of this post!)
Me and my friend have fallen out... over what exactly, I don't know. I think it's because I talked to someone during a 'year book' meeting that I'm not friends with, and apparently she was talking to me and I didn't hear her. (If she wanted to talk to me and I wasn't talking back, couldn't she have tapped me on the shoulder or something?) And now she's got all stressy... so I asked her if she wanted to talk during school break (which goes on for 15 minutes) and she said 'whatever' in a way that made me think that she didn't really care if we talked or not... so from there, I didn't know what to do. I didn't talk to her, in the end. I didn't have enough courage/confidence... so I text her after school. Bad move, I know, but I didn't know what else to do. Basically, the text said 'look, I know I should have talked to you today, but when I asked you if we could talk it seemed as if you didn't care if we did or didn't. So I didn't know what to do... I'm sorry for whatever I've done and to be honest, I didn't realise talking to someone I'm not really friends with is a big deal.' ??? Was that a good way to go about things? She's online (MSN) at the moment, and I'm not sure if I should speak to her. She hasn't texted back to my text, which I know if she said she didn't have enough credit is bull, cus she's on contract and usually has like quite a lot of credit on there anyway. I'm not sure if I should talk to her or not. (On MSN, I mean.) I think I've totally blew my chance of getting this all sorted out, but I was really confused as to why she was angry at me and so didn't really know what to do. I've apologised to her twice now (both through text... coward, I know(!)) and she hasn't replied. Well, she replied to the first one, and said 'I'll talk to you later'. She never did. I'm not sure if I should think that she doesn't want our friendship to go on any longer... but if that happens, I'll probably fall out with my other friends (the other 2 that hang around with us... we're like all best friends) too, and don't want that to happen. One of them is my bestest friend, and I don't know what I'd do without one friend... I'd be a total loner at school... I don't have any other friends to fall back on... I'm worried about what will happen. What should I do/say to her? Please help. >.< ![]() |

gawsh. friends suck sometimes.
and you wonder if they were ever really your friend, to get pissed over something so seemingly unimportant. just keep trying to talk to them, and then you'll have to give them time. |
