Three Days. Photoshop CS2. Myspace.

This is the layout that the organization called Dean's Future Scholars (of the university of nevada reno) has requested. The request was simple:
1. fun and youthful
2. have all of the information they wanted
3. have a small slideshow of 50 100x100 pictures of students

This organization means a lot to me, because they are paying for me to go to college (they awarded me $10,000). In return for making this site, they will enter my little sister into the program.

It's not bad. I can see how you wanted to make it look fun, but I just think you should've tried not to make it too rainbow-y. I believe it is possible to still make it look fun and welcoming while keeping a fixed color scheme in mind. The wood tiles behind the layout looks pretty creative. The little tab thingies look good too, but I don't think you should make them look too bright.

And yeah. Pretty good for a rookie.
