I've tried Opera/IE/Firefox. IE is straight-up shit, so there's no argument there, but this is what I've experienced. I still use Firefox instead of Opera, just because of its stupid font feature. It still doesn't work, but if I were to pick one, it'd be Opera.
Firefox Pros: - Tabbed Browsing - Nice themes - Easy interface to navigate; fairly straight-forward - I've never had any problems with its HTML/CSS compatibility - Grease Monkey Cons: - Sometimes when Firefox updates, some of its themes, plug-ins, or add-ons will not work and that sucks, but you can always disable the feature and enable it when there is an upgrade available - It is not a light-weight browser - The browser itself isn't all that customizable. For example, if you wanted the tabs on the bottom instead of the top, well, you can't do that Opera Pros: - Light-weight - Installing themes is simple - The speed dial feature - The look of the browser is completely in your hands - Smooth scrolling Cons: - It is not a friendly browser. It seriously took me 30 minutes to figure out how to force website to change their fonts to my liking - Themes suck |
