ok so me and my mom have always had problems and she has always treated me like shit but now its getting worse. she has like most of the family turned against me. and she is constan;y calling me a whore and shit like that. and she is trying to kick me out of the house im 17 but i'll be 18 in 2 weeks. and she has my dad turned agaisnt me too he told me that he wanted to ship me off into the military so he never had to see me again.
so i decided that i needed to talk to someone so i talked to my uncle(my mom's bro) bc he is the only one who doesn't listen to the shit my mom says about me. and he told me that there have been problems passed thru their family for many generations and that he is pretty sure my mom is bi-polar and problbly has something else wrong to she just wont admit it. so i was going to get out of the house like she told me to bc i don't care if she kicks me out i'd rather be out on the streets than with her. but i was going to move in with my cousin but my uncle and my teacher at school was concerned that even tho my parents told me to get out that my mom would try and call the cops and report me as a runaway. so im stuck as to what i should do? should i try to stay there until i turn 18 and then move out? should i get out now? or should i just stay all together? |

You moving out at 18 is going to take you down a road you might not be ready to tread. Do you have a steady source of income, if not do you have a well compiled resume and a job in mind that you can set out for like...now? Chances are if your moving in with cousins that won't work out for to long, that's like moving in with your best friends, things go bad quickly when you add rent, utilities, and living commodities into a friendship setting so keep the fact that you may have to rent an apartment on your own at any time if things go bad & remember, just because things aren't going so well now, don't say or do anything to completely burn down a bridge you don't really want to, your mom will always be your mom and your dad will always be your dad, your going to get older and realize that no matter how bad it seemed, you wish you could have gone back and worked it out, so don't close this door all the way just because your pissed, step back, take a breather, analyze the ENTIRE situation and every possible route you could go, and make a decisions from there, don't decide anything in the heat of the moment.
