Going Green Options

[StandardEdition]

This topic is for:
-Stating you opinions on going green. Wheather you disagree or agree.
-Stating your opinions on Peta [Yes, I do feel its relevant with going green, eat it if you disagree.]
This topic is not for:
-Saying stupid one liners that don't make sense at all.
-Bashing others for not liking Peta/The green world and vice versa.

Now, with that being said I'm to state my opinons on this. :]

I think its lame that all of the celebrities an like their little followers are just being glorified as that greatest things in the world just because they all of the sudden went green. I don't feel that they deserve to be glorified when they probably do the most damage to the earth. I also don't like how its an in thing, its kinda lame and I didn't think it would bother me this much. Yet, it does, it's like every where I turn its Jessica Simpson gave so much money to this green charity or Fergie sold her Hummer. I think its great that they want to change the world but I feel like its all for press.

As for Peta. I love Peta. I think its a great organization and I think they're doing a great job with helping animals. The only thing I don't like is that it tries to get you be vegan. Like yeah its great if your are but if your in Peta it's like you need to be. I know thats a whole part of their statement it helps imply that animals are friends but they actually make it like you have to be vegan if your in Peta. I mean of course you don't have to, they don't own you, but they really push it on you.

Yeah, it's terrible. I really hope people think about shit like that before they give a big corporation their money.

I think hating PETA makes people think I hate animals, and that's not true at all. I eat meat and I like it, call me a monster but it's human nature to have a carnivorous taste. I make fun of vegetarians and vegans, but it's all in good fun. My fiance has recently decided he is going back to vegetarianism, and I am pleased as punch.

The only downside is boca burgers with onion flavors make me sick.
