Pessimistic or Realistic blog? Options

A friend of mine posted this on her blog and I think she's really bitter about her last relationship since he cheated on her. I'm not saying she deserved it but the girl was having a abstinence relationship with a guy who wasn't into it..

They go to the extreme. What the hell? Like saying "He is my everything". Shut the hell up because he IS NOT your everything. He is only ONE thing, he can't posess everything you need. Why do you make him your life, when there's more to your life than this boy? Relationships like this make me laugh, because I can basically predict what will happen. The guy will leave her, and she will think she is left with NOTHING. You know why? Because she made him her everything, and now he is gone, and she hurts more than ever. She thinks there is no hope, no life, nothing good will come from it. He is just a BOY, And you'll get over it.

Or, the guy thinks the girl is his whole world. He thinks he can do anything to her, and she'll always stay. Like act like a whiny baby, talk down to her, be a bump on a log. And when she says something about breaking up, he cries and sucks up and sucks her back in. But when she is finally ready to give up on him and be free, he can't believe that his plan isn't working! So he pulls shit like suicide threats and fake dying phone calls. Just to get her attention. She's not falling for it this time, and now he thinks he lost everything. Again, she is just a girl, you'll freakin get over it.

So stop it. Guys and girls, if you want a good relationship, don't tell the guy that he is your air, because he isn't. You may feel like he is, but that's unhealthy. You can't look for your answers within a guy/girl, you have to find them from somewhere else, whether it be God, friends, yourself.

Never Ever make someone your everything, cause when they leave, you will feel like you have nothing.

Never think you "can't without them", CAUSE YOU CAN.

Life isn't all about HIM/HER, it's about freedom, fun, adventure, friends, love, God, family, hobbies, learning, dreaming, and passion.

You may think you can never love again, but you'll be surprised!! Time heals all pain, so get on with your life and move on, its hard but you can do it. Its not the end of the world if someone has walked out on you. Before you know it someoen will walk in."

She is really religious and I have a feeling she will not only be let down by guys in her future but also by God.
Don't people get mad at God because they have taken a loved one or family member away or something else bad has happened? I wouldn't know since I'm atheist but I was just thinking that God can stab your back in a way or so my friends have told me while blaming God for their problems.

i say she's realistic.

i'm a nondenominational christian, and i haven't ever really been angry with God for taking away people... that's just life. you can't expect all your friends to stay forever, and even if you're lifelong friends, everyone's gotta die.

when people die, it means they're done fulfilling their purpose or that they've made the impact on the environment around them that they needed to.

God isn't an omnipotent bellboy and it's not his job to create utopias.

How can you be mad at God? Did you know he goes through all the suffereing and pain that you go through? He can't make people love him, thats our choice. Like when you got out on the limb and your pretty much handing yourself to someone else and they take it from you and stomp all over it, God knows how everyone feels and hes felt it just the same, so I think its plain ignorance when you can sit there and be mad at God for your suffering and saying he doesn't understand and what not.


I think she sounds like whiny baby. She needs to learn to get over it and look at the other door in front of her. Yea some of the things she says is right, but shes almost looking at it from the perspective that many immature kids have about love, "Oh hes my everyone, my air and my light" its a load of bullshit that when you get older you lose site of. You can live without someone else on your side for a eternity, many people even Christians never get married and they actually form a better relationship with God.

lol i think it's somewhat funny how the 19 yr old sister [first blog] hates love and stuff when her younger sister [17, 2nd blog] is a hopeless romantic. but yeah, their view on religion is kinda skewed as if he is lottery for love
