There are a few topics on here about racism but they didn't really get into the topic that I wanted to discuss. Today, our class was talking about prejudice and racism and what caused people to be racist. It was quite interesting really, because my teacher said that the reason why people are racist is because they're afraid.
What do you guys think about this? Or what do you think causes people to be racist? |

i dont think its really "race" but groups.
okay this is gonna be kidna hard to explain. If you out there, youre more likely to see an "african American" in the "ghetto" group. same with "hispanics" then you see the "whites" with the "preps" "punks" "emo" etc. you also have the asians as the "geeks" its all just pretty much based on the stereotypes. it jsut happens to be that the "ghetto" loud mouth in the hallway is an "african America" or "hispanic" and the guy in your class that always thinks he's right happens to be an "asian" idk if that makes sense |
