Aluminum is the only thing worth recycling in mass as a citizen.
Paper, cardboard, and plastics are entirely worthless to recycle - in fact, in many cases, they're bad to recycle. For the most part it's something that people do to feel better about themselves without ever realizing that it's all a lie and a waste. If you really cared you might have taken the time to understand that 95% of the shit we recycle doesn't help - it hurts. |

For the most part it's something that people do to feel better about themselves without ever realizing that it's all a lie and a waste. If you really cared you might have taken the time to understand that 95% of the shit we recycle doesn't help - it hurts. What could it possibly hurt? It may not be the best plan economically, but environmentally I don't see how it could possibly be better not to make the effort to recycle when the alternative is to dump everything into a landfill, which leads to various other problems. |
