so like im writting my essay for my college apps. and i used number in it. would you have to write out dollar amounts (like $60) or type just as shown??

Generally speaking, if it's over 1000 for any number, you can type it out. I mean, how much of a pain would it be to write "one hundred fifty-two thousand seven hundred eighty-six"?
Anything under 100, for sure, should be written in its entirety. |
