Okay, so at my school in my English class we have to make a children's book, that we will read to preschoolers. What do you think? I know it's very bad quality pictures, but you get the idea.

It’s a diamond, it’d like a piece of jewelry! ![]() What shape is this? It’s a rectangle, this looks like a flag! ![]() What shape is this? It’s a heart, you use this to show your love! ![]() What shape is this? It’s a triangle, it looks like a Christmas tree or some pizza! ![]() What shape is this? It’s a star, you see them in the sky at night! ![]() What shape is this? It’s a crescent, It looks like a banana or the moon! ![]() What shape is this? It’s got a hard name, octagon, it looks like a stop sign! ![]() What is your favorite shape? Mine is a heart. ![]() We see these shapes everyday! What kinds of shapes do you see now? ![]() I see a . . . circle, an oval, a square, a diamond, a rectangle, ![]() A heart, a triangle, a star, a crescent, and an octagon. . . -- These are all the shapes we learned about today! |

I agree, as simple as you guys make it for them to learn it seems better suited for kindergarten or first graders. But hey, kids are getting smarter and smarter every day, so why not give it a shot. I found a few spelling mistakes but I'm not sure if you already fixed them or not. Overall, still very cute.

I found a few spelling mistakes but I'm not sure if you already fixed them or not. Overall, still very cute. Spelling mistakes is okay. I have it typed out on the page, just for on this board I quickly typed them up again, because I couldn't get the words in the pictures I took. So, it's all spelled correctly in the actually thing. Thanks though! And I feel like I went out a little bit with the octagon and crescent, I don't remember learning baout them as a pre-schooler so . . . we'll see. |
