The 2nd one kind of looks like the image was duplicated, desaturated, and set on soft light with a lowered opacity.
There was definitely some layer adjustment, and things like that with the selective color. I'll try to look for some tutorials for the first one. But like MissHygienic said, a lot of icon makers use those effects, I'm sure you could find some icon communities on LJ and look for some tutorials. |
